1066 Productions has spent the last two years focusing its energies on putting together a strong slate of commercial feature film and television packages. Now in a position to take these projects forward, 1066 Productions is scheduled to go into full production on its first feature in the spring of 2009. Two other screenplays have already garnered considerable industry interest and further developments are expected in the very near future.

1066 Productions' first foray into film was with two simple shorts, Pitch and The Bed Guy screened in the West End in December 2006. Both films received an excellent reception, both being picked up by the British Film Council. We have moved on considerably since that time but both films are still enjoying success on the festival circuit. Pitch recently won a best direction award and a nomination for best comedy at the Portobello Film Festival and was in competition at the World of Comedy Film Festival in Toronto. At the beginning of 2007, 1066 Productions produced the short Bruised and later that year worked on a series of online commercials to co-incide with the launch of an entertainment website.

The company most recently completed work on a teaser for UK feature Reflex Action, due to go into production in 2009 with A list talent attached. In addition to this 1066 is also involved in a number of other high-profile feature projects as a result of its comprehensive packaging services.
